MammalianMedia is the film and video production wing of Mammalian Diving Reflex. In keeping with the company’s mandate, MammalianMedia aims to trigger generosity and equity across the universe through a visual investigation of the social sphere. MammalianMedia explores interpersonal and cultural dynamics through film and video work that is engaging, challenging, to get people talking, thinking and feeling. MammalianMedia is a growing initiative led in collaboration with Artistic Associate Nicole Bazuin. You can take a look some of the documentation of our projects on our Youtube channel, but for the more substantial projects, you’ll have to wait until a screening.

All the Sex We’ve Ever Had is a durational film starring seniors from seven presentations of the stage show, All the Sex I’ve Ever Had, from Bern, Switzerland; Glasgow, Scotland; Oldenburg, Germany; Philadelphia, USA; Prague, Czech Republic; Singapore; and Toronto, Canada. Travelling meticulously, year by year through time, the film presents all the sex the performers have ever had, and the stories of a generation.

Sleeping with Family, 2015

Sleeping with Family is about sleeping arrangements in a low-income neighbourhood as described by 15 teenagers living in Parkdale, Toronto. Disguised to protect their identities, the young people in the film discuss their living conditions, particularly the absence of, and negotiations for privacy living in close quarters with multiple family members.
