Eva Verity

Eva's interest in the relationships between art, social structures and institutions led her to Mammalian Diving Reflex in 2008 as an intern for Parkdale Public School vs. Queen St. West. She has since been involved in all things Mammalian, including production, administration, fundraising, organizational development, research, strategy, communications, project coordination and touring Haircuts by Children, The Children's Choice Awards, Eat the Street, These Are the People in Your Neighbourhood and All the Sex I've Ever Had to Adelaide, Austin, Bern, Brussels, Copenhagen, Cork, Darwin, Gent, Kitchener-Waterloo, Kuopio, Newcastle, Norwich, Nyon, Oldenburg, Perth, Philadelphia, Portland, Prague, Regina, Terni and Whitehorse. She completed her combined Honours B.A. in art history and cultural studies and critical theory at McMaster University, and is a graduate of the M.A. art history program at York University. Eva has worked as a bilingual (French/English) closed captioner for film and television, volunteered with the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival. She is also an illustrator (www.evaverity.com) and has been a professional body artist for over 15 years.
