Naptime was presented by Les Escales Improbables and occured on the Quays of the Old Port of Montreal. Naptime invited the viewer to lounge in a semi-conscious state and listen to sleepy children's stories read by a bunch of people in a bunch of different languages: Haitian Creole, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Inuktitut and Hebrew. The music of each tongue lolled you into comfortable reveries as you drifted through the city’s linguistic landscape.

Featuring:
Laurentio Arnatsiaq speaking Inuktitut
Kamal Benkirane speaking Arabic
Kim Jiang speaking Mandarin
Claire-Anse Saint-Eloi speaking Haitian Creole
Danielle Sochaczevski speaking Hebrew
Sandra Tarsitano speaking Spanish

conceived and directed by Darren O'Donnell
production managed by Zoe Stonyk
produced by Natalie De Vito
