AWKS #8: Camp Awks

From the teens who brought you Dare Night: Lock Down, The Torontonians present... Camp AWKS.

The two months you looked forward to as a child have been packed crisply into one AWKward night. We’ve kept the greatest parts of summer camp, threw in a little teen flavour and created AWKS: Summa Camp.

In the Gladstone Hotel’s savvy Ballroom awaits an urban adventure far from flag saluting and friendship bracelet braiding. Take a seat at the campfire and sing campfire songs, share ghost stories, and enjoy performances by young talent from across the GTA, and special guest Lido Pimienta.

Come have a s’more and celebrate the last AWKS of the series.

AWKS, the Young Mammals' latest project developed and produced by The Torontonians, is a party series wrapped hectically together by up-and-coming party scene teens. It's an opportunity to relive your glory middle school dance days and sneak a peek at talented youth all over the GTA - like ALL. OVER. Let's applaud, break that weird force that separates the boys and the girls, party like a mammal, but most importantly, let's keep it AWKS. For more information, visit:

When: Thursday July 3rd 2014, 8pm-12am

AWKS has been made possible in part thanks to support from Toronto Arts Council with funds provided by the City of Toronto; support provided by a grant from the Vital Toronto Fund at the Toronto Community Foundation; Hal Jackman Foundation; Ontario Trillium Foundation and Metcalf Foundation.
