Everyone is Interesting: the Workshop

Join Darren O’Donnell, Artistic Director of Mammalian Diving Reflex, for a three-day workshop intensive exploring Mammalian Diving Reflex’s approach to socially engaged performance by focusing on how ordinary people and their stories are the foundation of compelling artistic work.

Using case studies from Mammalian Diving Reflex’s work, participants will learn interview and transcript-based creation techniques, connect with the Banff community to prove that everyone is interesting, and collaborate with other artists to create a small internal presentation based on material gathered during the course of the workshops.
