Youth Engagement in the Age of the Almighty Algorithm will be presented by Artistic Director, Darren O’Donnell at the For, By, With Young People? conference in Hildesheim, Germany on September 14, 2026.
Hosted by the Institute of Cultural Policy and the Institute of Social and Organisational Pedagogy at the University of Hildesheim, the symposium brings together artists, researchers, educators, and cultural practitioners to explore participation and cultural self-care in arts and cultural education infrastructures.
Drawing on over three decades of Mammalian Diving Reflex’s works and methods, the talk will guide audiences through the company’s youth engagement model and social acupuncture practice, exploring how participatory performance can foster social change.
